Story Story Night
Join us for a Night of Story Telling for Grown Ups! The Riverhouse Barn have lined up some great story tellers to share their experiences! Be inspired to tell us your own story. The age-old tradition of 'story telling' has become a craze in recent years and we need you to help us keep it alive and keep it growing. Enjoy a stimulating, funny, moving and unique evening.
Line up to include:
AGNES MEADOWS is an international poet, writer, ex-journalist, and inveterate traveller, who has five collections of poetry to her credit, and is still working on her first novel. She has performed all over the world, most recently in Iraq, where she was a guest reader at the 2nd Babylon International Festival of Arts & Culture. She has been running Loose Muse Women’s Writers Night since 2005.
LINDA SHANSON is a writer/musician/performer who has had her work broadcast on the BBC, and her music published by Northern Songs. With her band Jazz Orient she has recorded several albums on ARC Int., performing with them nationally and internationally. She is also a prolific writer, and has published a children’s book “Journey With the Gods” with accompanying music for Mantra Publications. She will accompanied by her husband, Baluji Shrivastav, one of the greatest Indian Sitarists.
