To Baluji music has no language, music is the language. Beyond the tabla Baluji can play a range of Indian percussion instruments , strings instruments such as sitar and dilruba (fretted fiddle) and can offer Hindustani vocals.
Baluji ability to work across musical styles is legendary. Baluji has recorded with UK artists such as Massive Attack, Annie Lennox, Future Sound Of London, Jah Wobble, Jimmi Tenor, Soul II Soul, Kylie Minouge, and in 2007 through the BBC Abbey Road Sessions with Oasis and Kaiser Chiefs..
On his own albums with Jazz Orient he has worked with artist such as Andy Shepperd, Guy Barker and Hossam Ramzy.
Baluji also recently contributed to a nationally distributed youth music cd & story telling project through the governments Sure Start project.
